WRESTLING RECAP: Playtime Williams breaks down WWE Raw from 03/16/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - Like any American man, I love wrestling. Every week, I'm going to give a recap of what's new in the sport. I''m a busy guy so I ain't got time to make it pretty but I'll definiately make it worth your while to check back every week. I gotta warn you though, I've got some strong opinion and when it comes to wrestling, I'm not gonna hold back. Ya'll ready? Let's go!

RECAP: Week of March 16, 2015 took place in Des Moines, Iowa and the commentators were JBL, Micheal Cole and Booker T.

This was a pretty lackluster Raw.  You have to come to expect such a thing because Wrestlemania 31 (W31) is 13 days away, and they can not afford to have a major star injure himself before the super bowl of Wrestling.  Here are the highlights of the night:

• Kane, Big Show, J&J Security and Seth Rollins in the ring

1. Apologies from everyone for allowing Randy Orton to deceive them all
2. Seth accepts Orton's Wrestlemania Challenge
3. Stipulation from Seth - Orton and him fights tonight
4. Orton comes out and accepts

• AJ Lee w/Paige VS Nikki Bella w/Bre

1. Long match for the Divas because they don't want male talents working too hard before  W31.
2. Pretty basic match with AJ carrying the match the entire time.
3. AJ gets distracted by outside activities and gets hit from behind and eventually pinned.
4. 6 out of 10 for match

Prediction: Bella Twins lose to AJ & Paige at W31

•  Smackdown interaction between Roman Reigns & Mark Henry shown

1. Trying to sale fans on the concept of Reigns being the champ
2. Fans still lukewarm towards him

• Interview with Kane & Big Show

1. They continue to bicker from previous weeks of turmoil
2. Seth Rollins interrupts and calls them stupid
3. Kane lets Rollins know that he will not be ringside for his match against Orton
4. Big Show just walks away without confirming his presence at ring side

• Ryback VS The Miz w/Damian MizDow

1. Not much of a match
2. Miz beat up quickly
3. MizDow tries to help up the Miz but Miz uses finishing move on him
4. 7 out of 10 match

Prediction: MizDow throws Miz out the ring the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at  W31.

• Cutaway to John Cena and Rusev recent issues with Rusev disrespecting the country
• Cena and Rusev has a contract signing

1. Cena comes out first and talks patriotic talk to stir up support and the crowd
2. Rusev comes out without Lana, and instead his lawyer
3. Lawyer states that Cena will not get rematch unless Cena listens to a pre-written statement from Rusev without Cena resorted to physical assults.
4. Rusev statements are anti-American sentiment
5. Rusev signs contract for W31 then flips table on Cena

Prediction: Lana cheats Cena at W31 and Rusev wins

• The New Day (Coffee Kingston & Big E Langston) VS Cesaro & Tyson Kidd

1. Los Matadores comes ringside
2. Cesaro and Kidd wins a quite short match
3. Los Matadores and El Torito attacks everyone
4. 7 out of 10 match

Prediction: The New Day gets pushed further down the Tag Team Totem Pole

• Cutaway to Seth Rollins with J&J Security

1. Seth ask J&J not to leave him stuck out this week
2. J&J explains that Seth left himself stuck out with his orders
3. Seth smacks J&J security and they quit on him

• Brock Lesnar cuts a promo highlighting his destructive force

1. Mentions the people he have beaten
2. Mentions WWE Contract

Prediction: Lesnar loses World Heavyweight Championship belt at W31

• The Big Show VS Eric Rowan

1. Show attacks him before the bell rings
2. Show drops an elbow to the chest of Eric from the middle belt

Prediction: Eric eliminates Show in Battle Royal at W31

• Hall of Fame Announcement - Larry Zbysko

• Preview of Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal put together by Kane

1. Mark Henry comes out and announces his entry
2. Mark beats everyone

•  Paul Heyman hypes up Brock Lesnar in ring

1. Mic gets cut off once
2. Paul repeats that Lesnar will win
3. Roman Reigns comes to the ring and says the he will win

• Heyman is interviewed and reveals Lesnar show up next week

• 6 man tag match: Daniel Bryant/Dean Ambrose/Dolph Ziggler VS Bad News Barrett/Luke Harper/Stardust - R. Truth on commentary

1. Match between those competing for the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at W31
2. Truth has belt behind his back
3. Ambrose pins Barrett for the win  
4. Championship belt is seen and each superstar fights for it
5. Barrett ends up beating everyone to get his title back
6. 8 out of 10 match

Prediction: Luke Harper wins the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at W31

• Rollins goes to Stephanie McMahon and HHH about needing help

1. Steph tells Rollins to man up and fight his own battles
2. Rollins tells HHH he has been hiding from Sting

• Bray Wyatt cuts a promo for match with Undertaker for W31

•  Randy Orton VS Seth Rollins 

1. Rollins reveals he tricked Orton
2. "The Authority" comes to back Rollins as an entire unt
3. Randy grabs a chair and waits in the ring for the attack from all sides
4. Lights go off, crow crows and Sting appears in the ring, with a bat, when the lights come back on.
5. Ring is cleared out by Orton and Sting
6. Stinger Splash and RKO done on J&J Security

Show goes off with commentators talking about an exclusive interview Sting and Orton will give immediately following the show on the WWE Network.
