WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE Smackdown from 04/02/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - This episode of Smackdown, on April 2, 2015, was actually pretty decent. Wrestlemania 31 (W31) was only 4 days ago at this point, so the story line is still dealing with the fallout of things that happened then.  Here are the highlights of the show:

Recap of Brock Lesnar's destruction from Monday Night Raw

• Seth Rollins, J & J Security, Kane and The Big Show hit the ring

1. Medical updates on all the people injured by Lesnar
2. Rollins stated his plan to become champion worked out perfectly, so he solidified his place as the face of the WWE
3. Randy Orton's music hits and crowd erupts
4. Orton reminds Rollins that he has never got his rematch from W30 
5. Crowd erupts into "RKO" chants
6. Orton congratulates Show on his W31 Battle Royal win
7. Orton insults Kane by saying he used to be The Big Red Monster but is now Little Red Riding Hood
8. Kane say Orton has to beat The Big Show just to be considered for the title match

• RKO VS The Big Show

1. Decent pace and decent ring energy match
2. Orton gets the best of The Big Show
3. Kane and J & J Security goes into the ring and beats up Orton
4. Ryback runs into the ring and clears everyone out 
5. RDO and Shell Shocks for everyone
6. Rollins watches this mayhem from the top of the ramp
7. 7 out of 10 for this match

Recap of Sheamus and his return on Monday Night Raw

• Naomi VS Natalya - The Bella Twins on commentary

1. Naomi had good pop while headed to the ring
2. Naomi shown saying that she can be the Divas champ
3. Both ladies show how talented they are in the ring
4. Great match overall
5. Naomi gets an impressive win
6. 8 out of 10 for this match

• Reigns says Rollisn was smart to cash in the Money in the Bank the way that he did

• Reigns says he will beat Rollins again

• The Miz VS R. Truth

1. "We want Mizdow" chants
2. Miz works the crowd well
3. Sneaky move by Miz ends a quick match
4. Mizdow attacks Miz from behind
5. Mizdow works the crowd well
6. 6 out of 10 for the match

• Cena heads to the ring with mixed crowd reactions

1. He gives Rusev props for being a good competitor
2. Cena plays on the patriotic vibe
3. Announces he will have an open challenge for the U.S. Title weekly
4. Rusev and Lana interrupts before Cena can finish the statement
5. "USA" chants boom throughout the arena
6. Rusev states he didn't lose at W31
7. Rusev states that this is his world
8. Rusev challenges Cena to a title rematch at "Extreme Rules"
9. Cena shows Rusev that he changed the drop down flag to the U.S. flag instead of the Russian flag

• Dean Ambrose VS Luke Harper

1. Decent match
2. Medium paced
3. Action spilled to the outside of the ring
4. Harper ends up power bombing Ambrose through the announcer's table
5. 7 out of 10 for the match
