WRESTLING RECAP: Playtime Williams breaks down WWE Raw from 05/18/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - The Payback Pay Per View (PPV) was Sunday and this show is the fallout from the results of Payback. With a great RAW last week, you have some high standards to live up to this week.  All shows leads up to the Elimination Chamber (EC) PPV.  Thankfully, overall, this was a decent RAW.


Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc.

3. Steph reveals she has a tribute for Rollins - "Seth Rollins: Architect of a Dream"
4. Reveals plan for Intercontinental Championship (IC) title 
5. Elimination Chamber (EC) PPV at the end of May will determine IC champ
6. Sheamus interrupts 
7. "You look stupid" chants
8. Sheamus says he ended Daniel Bryan's career, so she should get the IC title by default
9. Ryback interrupts
10. Ryback says he picked on a little guy that had more heart than him
11. Ryback wants Sheamus to pick on "The Big Guy"
12. Steph says that Sheamus and Ryback are in the EC IC match 
13. HHH says they both have a match now

1. Big guys equals power moves
2. Plenty of big moves
3. Sheamus fakes and eye injury and then hits the finishing move kick

Steph tells HHH that the Seth Rollins tribute deserves a strong man to lead it

1. Kane is named that man
2. Kane says Rollins has grown up
3. Rollin shows up and pours champagne for everyone
4. Rollins tells Kane he deserve the champagne the most because Rollins saved his job
5. Ambrose shows up and ask for a title match
6. Kane say the champ gets to pick his match
7. Ambrose says Kane is a neutered lap dog
8. Ambrose says that the Paul Bearer and The Undertaker would be ashamed of him
9. Kane puts Ambrose in a match with Bray Wyatt

Renee Young interviews Neville

1. Neville gives positive tales of his WWE experience
2. Bo Dallas interrupts and says Neville is a disappointment
3. Neville reminds Bo that he started his reign as the longest reigning NXT champion by beating him
4. Bo attacks Neville and concentrates on hurting his knee

• Neville VS King Barrett (KB) with Bo Dallas on commentary

1. Neville is seirously hobbled
2. Knee hampers the entire flow of the match
3. Knee grounds Neville
4. KB with a pin victory
5. Bo Dallas attacks Neville after the match and contines to target his knee

Cena VS Rusev recap from Payback PPV

Rusev comes to the ring

1. "We want Lana" chants
2. Rusev tells the crowd no Lana for them and get booed heavily
3. Rusev says that Lana doesn't speak for him and needs to stay in her place.
4. Lana should not said that he said "I Quit" during the PPV match with Cena
5. "We want Lana" chants
6. Rusev said he didn't lose to Cena because Cena passed out during the match
7. He says Lana stopped the match because she is weak
8. Rusev ask for the match to be restarted right now
9. Lana comes out and says Rusev is misunderstood
10. Rusev says that Lana did the wrong thing
11. Lana says that Rusev said "I quit" in Bulgarian
12. Lana says she did what was best for them
13. Rusev says that there is not an "us" because Lana is weak

1. Decent action
2. Cool moves against each other
3. Crowd stayed in tuned with match
4. Good ending with interference from J & J Security
5. Bray gets pin victory

• Tyson Kidd/Cesaro with Natalya VS The New Day with Xavier Woods banned from the ring - Tag Titles Match

1. The New Day says they will have to defend their tag titles against 5 teams at the EC PPV

4. New Day gets vicious and just go into attack mode and loses via disqualification
5. Xavier Woods comes out and joins the ruckus

• U.S. Title Open Challenge:  U.S. Champ John Cena VS NXT Champ Kevin Owens (KO)

1. KO plugs NXT PPV on the WWE Network this Wednesday
2. KO tells Cena to respect his time in wrestling
3. Cena told KO if he didn't like it, challenge him for the belt
4. KO says not today, but they will fight on his terms, not Cena's terms
5. KO kicks Cena in the gut then launches him off the rope and delivers a power bomb

1. Too quick of a match
2. Ziggler gets a quick pin victory

Diva Tag Match recap from Payback PPV

• Naomi with Tamina ringside VS Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship

1. Horrible match
2. Did not allow the aggressive Naomi to manifest for the title match she has been beating up everyone for over many weeks
3. Poor match, good ending
4. Nikki was applying a submission move to Naomi and Tamina interferes
5. Nikki DQ win
6. Jumped Nikki is saved by Paige
7. After Paige clears the ring, she delivers her finishing move on Nikki
8. 6 out of 10 for the match

HHH congratulates Kevin Owens in the back

1. Renee Young asks for an interview
2. KO says The Authority granted an EC U.S. Title match against Cena
   

Seth Rollins tribute begins in ring with red carpet covering the entire ring

1. HHH, Steph, and Kane brings Rollins to the ring
2. HHH says he sees his reflection in Rollins
3. "Justin Bieber" chants
4. Kane says Rollins is what is best for business
5. Rollins ask Kane if that was it
6. Kane shows Rollins a video montage of his rise to the title
7. Jamie Noble says is has been a pleasure protecting Rollins
8. Ambrose interrupts
9. Ambrose asks for another title shot
10. Steph says Rollins is a fighting champion, and orders Rollins to beat up Ambrose right now
11. Fight ensues and Ambrose gets caught with his head on a pile of cinder blocks with Ambrose ready to smash his head with a steel chair
12. Steph says if he Ambrose lets Rollins go she will grant him a title shot at EC PPV
13. Rollins is released and eventually lands a pedigree on Ambrose
