WRESTLING RECAP: Playtime Williams breaks down WWE Raw from 11/16/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - The Survivor Series (SS) Pay Per View (PPV) is in 6 days. You would expect this episode of RAW to go kind of easy on the talent, especially with the injury to Superstar Seth Rollins a week or so ago.  You just know SmackDown will be even slower before the PPV.  They made the matches longer, and really didn't have much over the top excitement in this episode.


Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc. 
5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

Undertaker and Kane comes to the ring with the Druids

1. RAW recap of Kane and the Undertaker returning and beating up The Wyatt Family

3. Taker said that you can't contain him or Kane and whatever 2 people Bray Wyatt picks for them to face at the Survivor Series (SS) Pay Per View (PPV) will not rest in peace
4. The Wyatt Family comes out
5. Bray Wyatt said that the Brothers of Destruction are no longer the face of fear and Bray is
6. Bray says that creatures of the night and not even controlled by them anymore
7. It goes dark and when the lights comes on, the Druids all have on sheep mask
8. The Druids attacks Kane and the Undertaker
9. Kane and Taker clears the ring

• Neville VS Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens - WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament 2nd Round 

1. Neville gets early advantage
2. Back and forth action
3. Both guys give a great performance that should be remembered for a while
4. Crowd loves the action
5. Owens sneaks in his pop up power bomb on a reversal
6. Pin Victory for Kevin Owens
7. Match Rating (MR): 3

Paige debut match, RAW April 2014, is shown where she wins the Divas title from A.J. Lee.

HHH is shown in the back speaking to Kevin Owens and shaking his hand.

RAW recap of Roman Reigns turning down HHH proposal to join The Authority. Reigns is then shown winning his match against the Big Show in the 1st Round of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament. 

• Tyler Breeze with Summer Rae VS R. Truth

1. Back and forth action
2. Breeze concentrates his attacks on the left leg of R. Truth
3. With Truth unable to fully explode with his moves from the leg damage, Breeze takes advantage
4. Breeze gets his finishing move on a hurt Truth
5. Breeze with a pin victory
6. MR: 2 

• Dolph Ziggler VS Dean Ambrose - WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament 2nd Round 

1. Match started off slowly
2. Neither man got a distinct advantage
3. Both guys kept knocking down each other simultaneously
4. Long match with both guys crashing and burning often
5. Ziggler's leg injury resurfaces
6. Ambrose sneaks in a dirty deeds finisher
7. Ambrose gets the pin victory
8. Ambrose said if he wins the title, the rules of the WWE are out the window
9. MR: 2

RAW recap from 4 months ago when Stephanie McMahon announced Charlotte as a new Diva, which started the Divas Revolution.

• The New Day VS The Usos & Ryback

1. After The New Day takes control of the match, the crowd really cheers on their opponents
2. The New Day isolates Jay Uso and keeps taunting Ryback
3. After Big E pushes Ryback in the face, Ryback snaps and attacks The New Day
4. The New Day wins via DQ
5. Ryback clears the ring
6. MR: 2

Night of Champions PPV recap from 2 months ago where Charlotte beats Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship.

HHH talks to Cesaro and tells him that it may be his time to do anything to grab the brass ring and be the man.

• Roman Reigns VS Cesaro - WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament 2nd Round  

1. Slow paced match to start
2. Cesaro gets the early advantage 
3. Crowd loyalty is split and chants for both men often counter each other in the crowd
4. These guys go counter for counter the entire match
5. Reigns sneaks in a Superman punch and then a spear to end a long match 
6. Reigns gets the pin victory
7. MR: 2

RAW recap from last month when Paige attacks Charlotte and Becky Lynch after they lost a match.

• The Ascension VS The Dudley Boyz

1. Decent paced match
2. Back and forth action
3. 3D finishing move ends an uneventful match
4. The Dudley Boyz gets the pin victory
5. MR: 2

U.S. Champion Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter are interviewed about the upset victory Kalisto had over Ryback on SmackDown.  Zeb said Del Rio earns all his victories and will earn a victory tonight and earn victories all the way to the championship.  HHH comes and congratulates them both for teaming up and being successful.  HHH tells them if they team up with the right people, they can be the man.

• Kalisto VS U.S. Champion Alberto Del Rio - WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament 2nd Round  

1. SmackDown recap of Kalisto getting a surprised victory on Ryback in round 1 of the tournament
2. Kalisto with early fire
3. Many near falls for Kalisto
4. Kalisto tries for a head flip but is caught on the ropes
5. Del Rio delivers a chest stomp from the top rope
6. Del Rio with the pin victory
7. MR: 2

RAW recap from 2 weeks ago where Paige wins the #1 contender spot for the Divas title at the SS PPV by pinning Becky Lynch.

RAW recap from last week of Becky Lynch beating Paige.  Paige then attacks Becky until Charlotte comes out for the save.

Divas championship contract signing hosted by Micheal Cole: Paige VS Divas Champion Charlotte

1. Micheal Cole asks them both what happened to their friendship
2. Paige said to be champ, you can't have emotions or friends
3. Charlotte emotionally states that they were suppose to be family
4. Paige said she has been using Charlotte, and Charlotte points out that she must sucks at using people because Paige isn't the champ
5. Charlotte said she isn't losing to Paige at the SS PPV and will not lose to someone like Paige
6. Paige talks about Charlotte family and then makes a bad comment about Charlotte's deceased brother
7. Charlotte explodes and keeps attacking Paige until the referees are finally able to separate the two ladies
