WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE Smackdown from 05/28/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - With the Elimination Chamber (EC) Pay Per View (PPV) only a few days away, I was certain that this episode of SmackDown would be a true snoozer.  I was wrong, and I am happy to say that I was wrong about that!  This SmackDown episode was full of high risk moves and maneuvers the entire episode.  Kudos to the writers for allowing the talent to open up only days away from a PPV!

Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc.

1. Great in ring skills showcased
2. Cruiser weight division definitely needed
3. Crowd enjoyed the match
4. "New Day Sucks" chants often
5. Lots of action
6. High risk maneuvers performed often
7. Lucha Dragon wins an exciting match after Xavier Woods caused a distraction to Kidd 
8. 8 out of 10 for this match

Kane is approached by Seth Rollins and J&J Security about their tag team match tonight.  Kane tells Rollins to trust that he has something planned for tonight's match.

• R. Truth VS King Barrett

1. Decent match
2. Surprise ending
3. R. Truth gets a finishing move on Barrett for a pin victory
4. 7 out of 10 for the match
5. Sheamus kicks both competitors in the face

2. Lana says there is no relationship between her and Dolph Ziggler
3. Rusev shows up and says he is not jealous of Ziggler

1. Horrible match
2. Naomi is no longer aggressive
3. Naomi just plays around in the ring
4. Bring back the serious Naomi
5. Paige gets a pin victory
6. 6 out of 10 for the match

1. Kevin Owens says John Cena has something to prove to him
2. Owens showcased his carnage to his best friend, Sammy Zane, from the NXT PPV

• Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns VS Kane & Seth Rollins with J & J Security

1. The numbers game from The Authority was a factor all match
2. Really decent match with a really good pace
3. Numerous high risk moves performed during this match
4. Crowed enjoyed this match
5. J & J interference caused a DQ win for Ambrose and Reigns
6. Reigns and Ambrose fights off everyone
7. Kane motions for someone in the back to join him and The New Day comes to help
8. With Ambrose and Reigns' attention on The New Day, Kane and Rollins eventually gets the upper hand in the skirmish
9. Rollins ends the show with giving Ambrose a pedigree and knocing him out cold
10. 8 out of 10 for the match
