WRESTLING RECAP: Playtime Williams breaks down WWE Raw from 09/14/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - The Night of Champions (NOC) Pay Per View (PPV) is only 6 days away.  Time to cement and sale the matches for the PPV event, but that usually also means that they will not have too that high of a caliber match.  Unfortunately, I was kind of right, and this week's episode was just a common feeling RAW.  Only one wrinkle in the wrestling fabric, and that involves Team Wyatt VS Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.


Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc. 
5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

1. Steph welcomes everyone to the new season of RAW
2. HHH says many superstars has emerged last season, but all will be lead by "The Man," Seth Rollins
3. They both announce matches for tonight with the announcement that Sting will wrestle for the first time on RAW, EVER, against The Big Show

• Tag Team Champions The New Day VS Prime Time Players

1. "New Day sucks" chants often
2. Darren Young comes out on fire
3. Back and forth action
4. Xavier Woods' trombone antics are great
5. Titus O'Neal comes in full of energy and crowd support
6. Numbers game too much for Prime Time Players
7. The trombone distractions from Woods caused O'Neal to get hit from bheind
8. After a tag team move, The New Day gets a pin victory
9. The Dudley Boyz comes out and motion for the tag titles
10. Bubba Ray Dudley starts a "Get the tables" chant
11. 8 out of 10 for the match

Seth Rollins talks to HHH and Steph about how good of an idea Sting VS The Big Show is.  Rollins asked what about John Cena and Sheamus.  HHH says they will face each other tonight - to the delight of Rollins.

RAW recap of Charlotte letting Nikki Bella know they have a match this week on RAW for the Divas Championship

Charlotte and Ric Flair interviewed about her thoughts on her title match tonight.  They both say it will be a good match, but Charlotte says Team Bella will crumble tonight.

• Paige with Becky Lynch VS Sasha Banks with Team B.A.D.

1. Paige comes out fiercely and causes this match to be on a brawl level
2. Sasha gets an advantage until Paige gives her a suplex on the back of her neck
3. Sasha rolls outside the ring and Paige goes for a high risk move from the ring apron to the floor
4. Tamina pulled Sasha out the way and causes the high risk move to be a crash and burn
5. Sasha gets Paige in the ring and gets her in a submission hold
6. Sasha wins via submission 
7. Team B.A.D. beats up Paige and Becky
8. 7 out of 10 for the match

Montage of the "Connor's Cure" campaign and the fight against pediatric cancer.  Back story on who Connor was, that got a "Thank you Connor" chant going from the crowd.

• Miz TV: The Wyatt Family

1. Wyatt tells Miz not to sit down because his is not safe
2. Miz assures them he is not teaming up with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns
3. Miz ask Wyatt what does he want
4. Wyatt says he wants sins paid for, and for all to suffer
5. Wyatt lets Miz know that no matter how many people anyone bring, they will all fall down
6. The Shield music hits and the crowd goes crazy
7. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose comes to the ring
8. Ambrose throws Miz out of the ring
9. Ambrose and Reigns stands toe to toe with the Wyatt Family
10. Reigns says the Wyatt's aren't the men because they keep losing to Reigns
11. Reigns lets Wyatt know they have a partner for Night of Champions (NOC)

4. Cena almost gets a win after a tornado DDT
5. Sheamus puts Cena in a submission hold but Cena crawls to the bottom rope
6. Cena puts Sheamus in a submission hold but Sheamus crawls to the bottom rope

8. After back and forth action with big hits from both men, Cena catches Sheamus in an AA
9. Cena wins via pinfall
10. 7 out of 10 for the match

SmackDown recap of Lumberjack match between Ryback and Seth Rollins.  Showcasing Rollins winning with interference from Kevin Owens.


Ryback comes to the ring

1. Says Kevin Owens thinks he has him shook up
2. Says Owens doesn't have proper respect for wrestling
3. Owens comes to the ring and calls Ryback physically strong, but mentally weak
4. "Feed me more" chants
5. Ryback said he has failed and never given up, so he can't be mentally weak - that is why he is the Intercontinental Champion (IC)
6. Owens said if he gets a chance at the IC title, he will take it from Ryback
7. Ryback tells Owens that he has a title shot at NOC
8. Kevin Owens leaves
   

• Stardust with The Ascension VS Neville

1. SmackDown recap of The Ascension beating Lucha Dragons and then their continuing beating of them after the match until Neville showed up to help the Lucha Dragons
2. Neville comes to the top of the ring, but then stops
3. Lucha Dragons comes out and they all run to the ring
4. A fight ensures until Neville and the Lucha Dragons are left in the ring

Video statement from Nikki saying how she will become the longest reigning Divas Champion of all time.  She also credits herself and Team Bella for starting the Diva Revolution.

• Charlotte with Team PCB VS Nikki Bella with Team Bella

1. Charlotte showcases a huge assortment of moves to dominate early
2. Nikki hurts Charlotte's left arm
3. "Lets go Nikki! Nikki sucks!" chants
4. Nikki concentrates on the hurt arm of Charlotte
5. When Charlotte gets the advantage back and lands a spear on Nikki, Team Bella interferes
6. Alicia Fox is flipped out the ring and Brie Bella trades places with her twin sister while the ref watches Fox go out the ring
7. Brie is still caught in a roll up pin
8. Charlotte gets the pin victory and wins the Diva title and stops Nikki from holding the belt for the longest in Diva's history
9. Steph comes out and says that Nikki is disqualified and still the champ
10. Steph also states that Charlotte gets a rematch at NOC and the belt will change hands if Charlotte wins in any type of way
11. 7 out of 10 for the match

• Rusev with Summer Rae VS Cesaro

1. "We want Lana" chants
2. No advantage for either guy early
3. "Cesaro" chants from the "Cesaro Section" often
4. Dolph Ziggler comes out and Rusev loses focus
5. Ziggler goes to Summer with a small gift box
6. Summer says she doesn't want it
7. Rusev looks as Ziggler places the box behind Summer
8. Cesaro puts Rusev in a creative roll up pin
9. Cesaro gets a pin victory
10. Ziggler chin kicks Rusev when he gets up
11. Summer runs to a groggy Rusev and hides the gift behind her back
12. 7 out of 10 for the match

Rusev is in the back upset and Summer says she did nothing wrong. Rusev storms into his dressing room and slams the door.  Summer looks at her gift with smiles until Rusev calls her into the room.

HHH and Steph talks to the Big Show about his match with Sting.  They call Big Show "the problem solver," and they call Sting "the problem."  Big Show says he has it.

2. Sting keeps countering all of Big Show moves
3. Seth Rollins runs in from the back and attacks Sting
4. Sting wins via disqualification
5. John Cena comes out and even the odds
6. Sting and Cena clears the ring
7. 7 out of 10 for the match

HHH calls for a tag team match to start right now

• The Big Show and Heavyweight and U.S. Title holder Seth Rollins VS Sting and John Cena with Steph and HHH ringside 

1. The Big Show dominates Cena early
2. Rollins and Show team well to dismantle Cena
3. No matter what is done to Cena, Cena keeps kicking out
4. Big Show goes for a top rope splash and misses
5. Cena able to tag Sting into the match
6. Sting comes in and handles business
7. Cena gets the strength to AA the Big Show
8. Sting gets Rollins and puts him in a submission hold
9. Rollins taps quickly
10. Sting wins via submission
