WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE Smackdown from 03/19/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - RECAP: Week of March 19, 2015 took place in Kansas City, Missouri and the commentators were Byron Saxton, Micheal Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

This was a pretty lackluster and predictable Smackdown.  You have to come to expect such a thing because Wrestlemania 31 (W31) a little over a week away, and they can not afford to have major stars injure themselves before the super bowl of Wrestling.  Here are the highlights of the night:

Brock Lesnar Promo from RAW

• Roman Reigns goes to the ring with his "I Can/I Will" T-Shirt

1. Crowd is behind him
2. Mark Henry interrupts him to endorse and push him more before W31
3. Henry references the t-shirt in his support
4. Seth Rollins, J & J Security & Kane interupts
5. They back Brock Lesnar
6. Rollins hires extra security to keep Randy Orton out the building (For Orton's safety)
7. Rollins wants a W31 tune-up so Kane/Rollins VS Henry/Reigns

• Tatsumi Fujinami is the newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame


• Paige VS Brie Bella (AJ Lee & Nikki Bella on Commentary)

1. Uneventful, short match
2. Paige with a quick roll up pin for the win
3. 6 out of 10 match

Prediction: Bella Twins lose to AJ & Paige at W31

Audio:

•  Cutaway of J & J Security instructing new security staff to be extra vigilant to ensure Orton doesn't get in the building

1. Happened many times during the show
2. Predictable results because of this

• Intercontinental Competitors Gauntlet Match

1. Starts off with Dean Ambrose and Stardust
2. Dean Ambrose gets a quick win and Stardust attacks him and huts his shoulder
3. R. Truth comes out and gets Stardust out the ring, and starts the match with Ambrose
4. Stardust gets on the apron, Truth attacks him, and Ambrose beats Truth off the distraction
5. Luke Harper comes to the ring and thoroughly beats a tired and injured Ambrose
6. Daniel Bryan comes out to huge pop and a great match ensues where Bryan is the victor
7. Dolph Ziggler comes out to huge pop and an even better match ensues with Dolph the victor
8. Bad New Barrett, the Intercontinental Champion, comes and attack the exhausted competitors and holds up his belt over them 
9. 8 out of 10 match

Prediction: Luke Harper wins the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at W31

• Six Being Inter Species Tag Team Match Up (Tyson Kidd, Cesaro & Natalya VS Los Matadores & El Torito)

1. Styles make a match
2. Further proof that different weight divisions need to be brought back to the WWE
3. Natalya lands a sitting powerbomb on El Torito for the win
4. 7 out of 10 match

Prediction: With The Usos injured, The Ascension gets thrust into the mix, after a lackluster match at W31, to shake up the tag division.

• Roman Reigns/Mark Henry VS Seth Rollins/Kane

1. Reigns hits the ring first to good pop for the main event
2. Henry's music hits but he never arrives
3. Cutaway to the back and refs runs to an unconscious Henry with chairs and other heavy items around him
4. Rollins, Kane, J & J Security and the extra security surrounds the ring
5. Crowd chanting for Orton
6. Match starts and Reigns fights for his life and respect as a tough guy
7. Overcoming all odds, and giving a Superman punch to Rollins and J & J Security, he hits the spear on Kane after he misses a clothesline.
8. Reigns toughly walks to the back
9. Orton's music hits and the crowd erupts
10. Everyone is looking towards the stage entrance but Orton appears from the back
11. Rollins is attacked but J & J Security and extra security sacrifice their bodies to the RKO so Rollins can get away
12. Orton stands victorious in the ring

Prediction: Orton gets cheated at W31 by a foreign object...possibly the Money in the Bank briefcase
