WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE Smackdown from 05/07/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - With the Payback Pay Per View (PPV) approaching, the WWE writers are trying to create new feuds to tempt the wrestling tongue.  This SmackDown show was consistent paced and had a few moments of brilliance.

Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc.

Jerry The King Lawler brings King Barrett (KB) to the ring

1. KB tells Jerry that Barrett is the only "King" in the WWE
2. KB tells everyone to start off addressing him with the greeting, "All hail King Barrett"
3. Jerry refuses and KB threatens to hit Lawler
4. Dolph Ziggler comes to the ring

• Dolph Ziggler VS KB

1. Back and forth match
   
2. Looks like Ziggler would win but Sheamus interferes
3. Ziggler saved by Neville
4. No contest 
5. 7 out of 10 for this match

• Dolph Ziggler & Neville VS Sheamus and KB

1. This match has played out too often over the last couple of weeks
2. Nothing new and exciting grabbing our attention
3. Decent match
4. Ziggler hits his finishing move on KB
5. 7 out of 10 for the match

Renee interviews Dean Ambrose. Ambrose likes his chances of winning at Payback.

• Fandango VS Luke Harper

1. Decent match
2. Size difference too great
3. CRUISER WEIGHT DIVISION NEEDED
4. Quick win for Harper
5. Eric Rowan comes to the ring
6. Rowan attacks Fandango and leaves
7. 7 out of 10 for the match

Renee interviews Roman Reigns.  Reigns says he has no problem fighting any of the competitors for the Fatal Four Way.

• The New Day VS Tyson Kidd/Cesaro/Ryback with Natalya at ringside 
1. Crowd loves to hate The New Day
2. Great match
3. Not enough Ryback VS Big E
4. Bray Wyatt potential interference with light going out caused a distraction
5. Kofi gets a roll up victory on Kidd
6. 8 out of 10 for the match

Renee interviews Randy Orton.  Orton says 1 member of the former group, The Shield, may not make it to the PPV

• Emma VS Naomi with Tamina at ring side

1. Naomi dominates again
2. Routines too slow
3. Naomi needs a more athletic person to wrestle against like Natalya
4. Pin victory for Naomi
5. 7 out of 10 for the match

Tough Enough audition compilation was shown

Renee interviews Seth Rollins.  Rollins talks negative about Kane once again.

1. Nice action

5. Sincara with a roll up pin victory
6. Possible break up of Los Matadores beginning.  Mush face of El Torito after match

Kane conducts the Fatal Four Way contract signing

1. All challengers sit at table to sign contract
2. Seth refuses to come to the ring
3. Seth wants Kane to sign it for him via proxy
4. Dean Ambrose reminds everyone that he called Rollins "Justin Beiber"
5. "Justin Beiber" chants
6. Rollins sends J & J Security to get the contract
7. Before Rollins signs the contract, he says things to cause discord among the title challengers
8. Rollins shoves the signed contract in Kane's chest then calls him obsolete
9. Everything breaks down in the ring
10. RKO to Ambrose
11. Superman punch to Orton
12. Flying knee to Reigns followed by a face kick
13. Rollins holds the championship belt high while all others are laid out in the ring
