WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE Smackdown from 06/25/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - Pay Per View (PPV) Battleground is in a few weeks. This particular SmackDown episode was decent, but didn't add much to add to the anticipation of the upcoming PPV, but thankfully didn't detract from it by any means.

Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc.
5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

Seth Rollins, Kane and Joey Mercury heads to the ring

1. Rollins exclaims that The Authority is back, and they visited Suplex City and burned it to the ground
2. Jamie Noble has 3 broken ribs from Lesnar fighting back on RAW
3. Kane says attacking The Authority has consequences
4. RAW recap of Ryback attacking The Big Show
5. Ryback is called to the ring to explain his actions
6. Seth Rollins says Ryback needs to model himself after Rollins to how a real champion behaves
7. Ryback says Rollins isn't a real champion and just a over protected, gutless child
8. Kane says Ryback has a match against him tonight
9. Rollins says he will face Dean Ambrose 1 on 1 tonight

• Dolph Ziggler with Lana VS Sheamus

1. Decent Action
2. Rusev comes with a microphone and ask Lana to come back and Lana turner her back on him and walks away
3. Some high risk moves thrilled the crowd
4. Sheamus gets a hard fought win
5. 7 out of 10 for this match

Rusev is fustrated in the back and Summer Rae tells him Lana isn't worth it

• Alicia Fox with the Bella Twins VS Naomi with Tamina

1. Great action
2. Great in ring skill showcased
3. Tamina and Naomi beat up the Bella Twins outside the ring
4. Alicia capitalizes on the unfocused Naomi for the win
5. 8 out of 10 for the match

RAW recap of Machine Gun Kelly getting power bombed of the stage by Kevin Owens from 2 weeks ago, and Cena accepting the title challenge from Owens 1 week ago

Jojo interviews The New Day.  The New Day says they will overcome adversity at Battleground.  Prime Time Players interrupts and says to remember to only bring 2 of them to their PPV match.  Bo Dallas comes up and says The Authority agreed to let him join The New Day to take on the Prime Time Players tonight with 2 people of their choosing.

• Kane VS Ryback

1. Ryback gets attacked from behind from The Big Show on the entrance ramp
2. Ryback gets tossed in the ring and the match starts
3. Ryback fights back but can't overcome numbers and size
4. Ryback wins via disqualification but takes 2 choke slams from The Big Show
5. 7 out of 10 for the match

• The New Day and Bo Dallas  VS Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons

1. Crowd really into "New Day Sucks" chants
2. Good action 
3. Definite showcasing of the potential for a Cruiser Weight Division
4. Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons win an entertaining match
5. 8 out of 10 for the match

RAW recap of Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt encounter

Dean Ambrose tells Roman Reigns that they need to find Wyatt. Reigns says just to focus on matches and that he will have Ambrose back.  Reigns goes to put on wrestling gear and finds a picture of him that says "Anyone but you" written on it.

Reigns goes door to door looking for Wyatt.  Kane tells Reigns that he can't go off the handle looking for Wyatt and ejects him from the building.

• Seth Rollins VS Dean Ambrose

1. Money in the Bank recap between the 2 
2. RAW recap of Rollins - Lesnar and the reunification of The Authority
3. Decent match that actually turned to good action as the match went on
4. Ambrose is still nursing his knee injury from the last PPV
5. Well placed interference caused Rollins to pick up and entertaining win
6. 8 out of 10 for the match
