WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE SmackDown from 07/02/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - Pay Per View (PPV) Battleground is in a few weeks. This particular SmackDown episode was decent, but didn't add much to add to the anticipation of the upcoming PPV, but thankfully didn't detract from it by any means.

Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc.
5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

Seth Rollins and J & J Security heads to the ring

1. Rollins mentions the gifts he purchased 
2. RAW recap of the unification of The Authority and their attack on Brock Lesnar
3. "Suplex City" chants
4. Rollins announces a match between Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt as well as a match against himself and Roman Reigns
5. Ambrose comes out and counts the number of people in the ring then goes to the back
6. Ambrose comes back out with a kendo stick and runs everyone out the ring

• Dean Ambrose VS Bray Wyatt

1. Crowd really into the match
2. These guys did a lot of risky moves on each other
3. "This is Awesome" chants
4. Bray gets a hard fought victory
5. 8 out of 10 for this match

• Adam Rose with Rosa VS R. Truth a.k.a. King What's Up

1. Fast paced match
2. Quick match
3. R. Truth gets the win
4. 7 out of 10 for the match

Mark Henry interviews and states that Ryback has bitten off more than he can chew with him

• Mark Henry VS Ryback

1. Good showcasing of power moves
2. Slow paced match
3. "Feed me more" chants
4. Ryback wins the power match
5. 7 out of 10 for the match

J & J Security lets Rollins know that Roman Reigns has not been sighted in the building via their newly bought Apple watches

• Naomi VS Brie Bella with Alicia Fox

1. Athletic abilities of Brie not on par with Naomi
2. Numbers game gives Brie the win
3. 7 out of 10 for the match

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo saying he misses Roman Reigns.  He thinks Reigns is sulking some where after being beat up on RAW.  Essentially that sulking is a by-products of being given everything, and that is why anyone but him.

• The Ascension VS Prime Time Players

1. Titus O'Neal popularity continues to grow
2. Lots of support for the Prime Time Players throughout the match
3. PTP wins
4. 7 out of 10 for the match

Rusev and Summer Rae comes to the ring

1. RAW recap of Summer Rae and Lana's fight
2. "USA" chants often 
3. Summer apologizes for her actions on RAW and stooping to a gold digger's level like Lana
4. Rusev says Summer is a real woman that knows her place
5. "We want Lana" chants
6. Rusev tells Ziggler that he will soon feel how it is to lose everything

• Seth Rollins with J & J Security VS Roman Reigns

1. Rollins ask for them to ring the bell to get a count out victory against Reigns
2. They get to a 7 count and Reigns music hits
3. Cool moves used against each other
4. Back and forth action
5. J & J Security interferes and gets Rollins disqualified
6. Roman wins via DQ
7. 7 out of 10 for the match
8. Seth and J & J jumps Reigns
9. Ambrose comes to the ring with the kendo stick again and beats on everyone
10. Ambrose and Reigns brings Joey Mercury back into the ring and punishes him more while Seth Rollins and Jamie Noble can only watch
