WRESTLING RECAP: Playtime Williams breaks down WWE Raw from 07/06/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - Pay Per View (PPV) Battleground (BG) is now in 2 weeks. It is time to really start selling the story lines for the upcoming PPV.  I do like that this Monday's episode relied on more wrestling, and did not play it safe like 2 weeks ago.


Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc. 
5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman comes to the ring

1. Heyman says Lesnar will get violent with his payback on Rollins
2. Heyman mentioned that Lesnar didn't dislike any of the other people he conquered
3. Heyman mentioned that Lesnar does not like Rollins, so he will hurt him
4. "Suplex City" chants 

• Ryack (Intercontinental Champion) VS Big Show with The Miz Ringside

1. Power match
2. Miz has a microphone and gives commands and kudos to each competitor
3. Solid match
4. Both competitors wear each other out and then The Miz attacks them both
5. No contest
6. Ryback shell shocks Miz, then Big Show choke slams him
7. Ryback then clothesline Big Show
8. 8 out of 10 for the match

• Brie Bella with Nikkie Bella and Alicia Fox VS Paige

1. RAW recap of Paige VS Alicia Fox from last week
2. Slow paced
3. Numbers game causes Paige to lose a predictable match
4. 6 out of 10 for the match

RAW recap of Bray Wyatt attacking Roman Reigns

• Roman Reigns VS Sheamus 

1. Power hits and power moves
2. Crowd really into the match
3. Reigns gets the upper hand and Bray Wyatt's music hits
4. Wyatt comes down to the ring
5. Reigns leaves the ring and attacks Wyatt
6. When Reigns picks up Wyatt, he soon realizes that it is just an imposter
7. Sheamus wins via count out
8. Randy Orton runs to the ring and attacks Sheamus and lays him out with a RKO
9. 8 out of 10 for this match

Seth Rollins ask HHH for advice on how to handle Lesnar for tonight. HHH tells him to antagonize Lesnar.  Rollins says he will call out Lesnar to show him that he is the man.

RAW Recap of Summer Rae and Lana getting physical with each other

Rusev and Summer Rae comes to the ring

1. Rusev says Summer inspired him to apolgize
2. "We want Lana" chants
3. Rusev apologizes with venom towards Lana, Dolph Ziggler and the USA
4. Ziggler and Lana comes to the ring
5. Ziggler says all Rusev success is beause of Lana
6. Ziggler kisses Lana
7. Summer and Lana comes together and then are seperated
8. Rusev attacks Ziggler with his crutch and then super kicks him with his walking boot
9. Lana is thrown out the ring by Summer
10. Rusev takes off the walking boot and destroys Ziggler

• Bo Dallas VS Dean Ambrose

1. "Lets go Ambrose! We Bo-lieve" chants
2. Quick match but entertaining
3. Dean Ambrose wins
4. 7 out of 10 for the match

• King Barret VS R. Truth (King What's Up)

1. Back and forth match
2. Crowd into the match
3. Barret wins with a good counter attack bull hammer
4. 7 out of 10 for the match

Seth Rollins and J & J Security comes to the ring

1. Rollins says he will burn Suplex City to the ground at Battleground
2. "Suplex City" chants
3. "Justin Beiber" chants
4. Rollins calls out Lesnar
5. Lesnar comes out and looks at the guys in the ring with weapons
6. Lesnar goes into the fire kit and grabs 2 axes
7. Lesnar turns his attention to J & J's new car that Rollins bought them
8. Lesnar destroys the car and when J & J tries to stop him, he destroys them
9. Jamie may have a broken arm to go along with the broken ribs Lesnar gave him
10. Lesnar runs to the ring and Rollins runs out the ring and escapes through the crowd

• Lucha Dragons VS Big E & Kofi Kingston with Xavier Woods (The New Day)

1. Prime Time Players join the commentary staff
2. Plenty of action
3. Plenty of high risk moves
4. Great example of how the Cruiser Weight division would be
5. Dialouge between Titus O'Neal and JBL was hilarious 
6. Numbers game wins the match for The New Day
7. 8 out of 10 for the match

John Cena U.S. title Open Challenge

1. Recap of Kevin Owens losing the NXT Championship
2. Cena issues his challenge
3. Kevin Owens says he is tired of Cena and taking the title tonight
4. Cesaro comes down to the ring and says Owens cheated him out of winning the title last week with his interference
5. Cesaro says he will be taking the title shot tonight and if Owens does not leave the ring, he will have issues with Cena and Cesaro
6. Owens leaves

• John Cena (U.S. Champion) VS Cesaro 

1. Decent pace
2. Decent match that just gets better as the match went along
3. Lots of back and forth action
4. "This is awesome" chants
5. They pummeled each other almost the entire match
6. Crowed really was behind Cesaro
7. Attitude Adjustment to Cesaro from the 2nd rope gives Cena a hard fought win
8. Owens tires to sneak attack Cena, but Cena delivers an Attitude Adjustment on him
9. 9 out of 10 for the match
