WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE SmackDown from 07/09/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - Pay Per View (PPV) Battleground is in a  just about 2 weeks. This particular SmackDown episode was decent, but didn't add much to add to the anticipation of the upcoming PPV, but thankfully didn't detract from it by any means.

Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc.
5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

Seth Rollins heads to the ring

1. Rollins calls Lesnar a coward for destroying the car and hurting J & J
2. "Justin Bieber" chants
3. "Suplex City" chants
4. Says he will humiliate Lesnar at Battleground PPV
5. Damaged car is brought to the side of the entrance ramp on a flat bed truck
6. Paul Heyman comes out and says the car represents the destruction that Lesnar will do to Rollins during Battleground
7. Rollins ensures Heyman that he will retains his championship after Battleground

• Dean Ambrose VS Bo Dallas

1. Bo Dallas dominates early
2. Ambrose pulls off his finishing move out of no where
3. Dean gets the pin victory
4. 7 out of 10 for this match

Big Show encourages Seth Rollins to beat Ryback tonight and says he will hurt Roman Reigns tonight

RAW Recap of Dolph Ziggler getting destroyed by Rusev

• Rusev with Summer Rae VS Fandango

1. Fast start for Fandango but the power of Rusev snuffs it out
2. "We want Lana" chants
3. Rusev makes Fandango tap out
4. 7 out of 10 for the match

• Roman Reigns VS Big Show

1. RAW recap of Bray Wyatt's mind games against Reigns
2. Show dominates until Reigns rams Show's head into the steel post
3. Reigns sets up for a Superman punch and then Wyatt's music hits
4. Someone comes towards the ring but Reigns does not leave the ring to attack him
5. Reigns senses Wyatt is behind him and gives him a Superman punch
6. Reigns hits Show with 2 Superman punches
7. Wyatt interferes and Reigns wins via DQ
8. Show chokeslams Reigns and then Wyatt delivers the Sister Abagail on Reigns
9. 7 out of 10 for the match

• Titus Oneal with Darren Young VS Big E with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods

1. RAW recap of The New Day beating The Lucha Dragons
2. "New Day Sucks" chants
3. Back and forth action
4. New Day members keep getting on the ring apron so referee sends them to the back
5. Oneal capitalizes on the distraction for a pin victory
6. 7 out of 10 for the match

Randy Orton comes to the ring

1. Recap of Randy Orton and Sheamus feud for the last few months
2. Orton admits that Sheamus has gotten under his skin
3. Says he will rip off Sheamus' Mohawk and shove it up his arse
4. The Ascension comes to the ring and tells Orton to get out of the ring
5. Orton delivers an RKO to both members of The Ascension

RAW recap of Cesaro - Cena match with Kevin Owens' interference at the end of the finished match

• Brie Bellas and Alicia Fox with Nikki Bella VS Naomi and Tamina

1. Naomi still isn't aggressive 
2. Match really got exciting when when Alicia Fox got involved
3. Bella Twins causes an interference to the the pin victory of Fox over Tamina
4. 7 out of 10 for the match

Ryback says Rollins isn't a real champion because he runs and hides when adversity comes. He will show Rollins what a real champ is tonight

• Intercontinental Champion Ryback VS World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins 

1. "Feed me more" chants
2. Back and forth action
3. Rollins decides that he had enough, grabs his title and heads towards the back
4. Ryback tries to get Rollins back in the ring, but Rollins escapes
5. Ryback wins via count out
6. Big Show comes from the back stage area
7. Show and Rollins heads to the ring and jumps Ryback
8. Reigns comes to the ring and attacks Rollins, then spears Show
9. Ryback shell shocks Rollins
10. 7 out of 10 for the match
