WRESTLING RECAP: Breaking down WWE SmackDown from 11/26/15

(www.PlaytimeCares.com) - Survivor Series (SS) Pay Per View (PPV) was Sunday.  That PPV was semi predictable.  Now it is time for the Tables, Ladders and Chairs PPV, simply known as TLC.  This showing did not do much for the overall brand besides name a #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship.  So sad that the WWE writers kind of forgot about writing for that title at the same time they were writing for the Heavyweight Championship.

Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc.
5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

Roman Reigns comes to the ring

1. Survivor Series (SS) Pay Per View (PPV) of Dean Ambrose VS Roman Reigns with Roman winning the World Heavyweight Championship.  Roman spears HHH and then gets kicked in the face by Sheamus.  Sheamus cashes in his Money in the Bank title contract and wins the title after another kick to the face of Roman.
2. RAW recap of Roman Reigns beating up Rusev, King Barret and Sheamus with a steel chair
3. Roman says winning the title was a dream, but Sheamus cut the dream short with the kick to the face
4. Sheamus comes out and tells Reigns to get over losing the belt to him
5. Reigns challenges Sheamus to a match immediately but Sheamus declines
6. Reigns lets Sheamus know the various way he will hurt him at the Tables, Ladders and Chairs (TLC) PPV 

• The Dudley Boyz VS Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper ringside

1. Team 3D starts of strong until Braun Strowman gets in 
2. Wyatt Family dominates
3. Team 3D swings the momentum and opts to put a Wyatt through a table
4. Devon gets the table in the ring, but Luke Harper interferes 
5. Team 3D wins via DQ 
6. Strowman chokes out Devon; Luke and Erick gives a double choke slam to Bubba through the table 
7. Match Rating (MR): 2

 

 

• Paige VS Becky Lynch

1. SS PPV recap of Charlotte getting a questionable win over Paige
2. RAW recap of a double count out rematch of the SS match that ended with Paige putting Charlotte in a submission hold on top of the announcer's table
3. Paige gets dominated early
4. Paige turns things around to start back and forth action
5. Paige reversed a move and able to get a roll up pin victory
6.  MR: 2

Team BAD is with Big E and Kofi Kingston around a table full of food.  Big E welcomes Team BAD to the New Day Thanksgiving potluck.  Heath Slater brings "Slater slaw," but it has a band aid in it!  Adam Rose brings rabbit stew, which brought immediate questions about his bunny rose bud member.  The Ascension comes empty handed and are kicked out.  Xavier Woods shows up dressed as a turkey, Gobbledy Gooker, and say that this turkey has its 25 year anniversary along with The Undertaker.  Woods said he will spread cheer with the suit.

• MexAmerica Champion Alberto Del Rio with Zeb Colter VS Jack Swagger

1. Zeb said Jack is a hater because he has improperly channeled, blind American loyalty
2. Del Rio dominates early
3. Swagger able to clotheslinse Del Rio over a barricade and then turn his attention to Zeb
4. Del Rio blast Jack with 2 chair shots
5. DQ win for Jack Swagger
6. Del Rio puts Jack in the ring, but the ref grabs the chair from Del Rio
7. Jack gets the chair and gets 3 chair shots on Del Rio
8. MR: 2

The Usos see Xavier Woods in the Gobbledy Gooker suit and devises a plan against him.

 

 

• Lucha Dragons VS The New Day

1. 1990 SS PPV debut of Gobbledy Gooker is shown
2. Back and forth action
3. Kofi gets a good move on Kalisto and tries to use the ropes to pin him
4. Gobbledy Gooker knocks Kofi's feet off the rope
5. Kofi asks Gooker what he is doing, and Kalisto gets a finishing move on Kofi
6. Lucha Dragons with the pin victory
7. Jim Uso comes down the entrance ramp with an air horn and Xavier Woods tied up
8. Jay Uso reveals he is Gooker
9. Lucha Dragons and The Usos attacks The New Day
10. MR: 2

The Undertaker 25 years montage is shown

 

Dean Ambrose is asked about the possibility of being the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship.  Ambrose said that he isn't a betting man, but people should bet on him.

 

 

• Tyler Breeze with Summer Rae VS Dean Ambrose VS Dolph Zigger - Triple Threat Match for the #1 spot for the Intercontinental Championship

1. Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens goes down to the commentator's table
2. Crowd really into the match
3. No clear cut advantage the entire match
4. Back and forth action
5. Dean Ambrose able to put the Dirty Deeds finisher on Tyler Breeze
6. Ambrose with a pin victory and #1 Contender position for the Intercontinental Title
7. Ambrose gets in Owen's face, but Owens just walks away
