NXT 402 on the WWE Network:
Verdict: 4 matches and you can see the greatness of the women's division this week. This show was worth watching.
Episode tidbits:
Kassius Ohno vs Hideo Itami next week at the request of Ohno. Hideo was not happy about such a request.
The tag team "Street Profits" will be coming to NXT soon.
Andrade Almas Cien attacked Banoni after his match at the suggestion of the mystery woman until No Way Jose ran Cien out of the ring.
Match 1: Ember Moon defeats Ruby Riot (Match Grade: B+)
The crowd immediately gave this match energy. Good technical skills match from the beginning to the end. This is wrestling.
Match 2: Oney Lorkin defeats Danny Burch (Match Grade: C+)
This looked like an older brother versus a younger brother! This match started off slowly, but a series of face smacks gave the match much needed energy. The match ended shortly after the energy boost. A bloody Burch asked for one (1) more match and the crowd roared. Oney accepted.
Match 3: No Way Jose defeats Cezar Banoni (Match Grade: C+)
Too quick of a match!
Match 4: Drew McIntyre defeats Killian Dain and became the #1 contender to face NXT Champion Bobby Roode at NXT Takeover Brooklyn III (Match Grade: C+)
This match started off slowly and had a grinding pace. Eventually, the match became two (2) big guys doing big moves on each other. It took three (3) finishing moves in a row from Drew to put away Dain.
