NXT 430 on the WWE Network:

Verdict: Once again, this episode of NXT showcased 4 matches that prove NXT has a bright future for 2018.  These diverse matches are a good mixture of old and new talent, and also is a great buildup episode to the upcoming NXT Takeover Philadelphia.

Episode tidbits

→Roderick Strong called out Lars Sullivan for a future match.

→Part 1 of a special look into TM61 was shown.

→Lacey Evans says that she is going to clean house in NXT.  She calls out many ladies until Shayna Baszler came out.  Baszler went to the ring and choked out Aliyah.  Ember Moon, once again, came out to save a Baszler victim.  Ember Moon calls out Baszler for a match, even if it means putting up the title to get her in the ring.

→General Manager William Regal agrees to let Ember Moon and Shayna Baszler fight for the title at NXT Takeover Philadelphia.

→Zelena Vega told General Manager William Regal that The Velveteen Dream deserves the title shot over Johnny Gargano.  Gargano should put his #1 contender spot up against Dream.  Johnny Gargano heard this and decides to go to the ring and declare that this is his time, and he is deserving of the title shot.  To prove he is title worthy, Gargano will put up his #1 Contender spot against Dream next week.

→NXT Year End Awards 2017 categories are still open.  Go to Twitter to vote for your favorites of 2017.

Match 1: Tito Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss steals a victory over Heave Machinery (Match Grade: B)

This match had everything you would want in a match.  Tito and Moss proved that if you aren't cheating, you aren't trying!

Match 2: Roderick Strong gets a submission win over Fabian Aichner (Match Grade: C+)

There were plenty of big moves in this match.  A bit of a surprise ending watching Strong get the win via submission.

Match 3: Lacey Evans beats Aliyah (Match Grade: C+)

Aliyah came back with a new look and a more polished in-ring game.  Lacey came aggressive and impressive.  Plenty of technical wrestling to go with gritty moves.

Match 4: Authors of Pain showed they are still the team to beat against Street Profits (Match Grade: C+)

AOP showed they are still powerhouses.  Street Profits are undefeated no more.
