NXT 437 on the WWE Network:

Verdict: You had 3 matches and a lot of future implications for this episode.  All in all, a solid episode.

Episode tidbits

→Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic starts next week.  The winner of the tournament gets a title shot at NXT Takeover New Orleans.

→Authors of Pain are claiming victory for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

→Street Profits are claiming victory for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

→The recap of how Johnny Gargano lost his NXT career in a match with Andrade "Cien" Almas was shown.

→General Manager William Regal officially terminated Gargano's NXT contract.

→NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas came to the ring and talked about how great he was to end Gargano's NXT career until Aleister Black and Killian Dane came to the ring.  Black and Dane fought each other, with Dane getting the best of the exchange, and Cien simply just left and went to the back.

→Shayna Baszler called out NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon again.

→Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals rematch from last year between TM61 & Authors of Pain will kick off the tournament next week.

Match 1: Velveteen Dream and Tyler Bate did not disappoint.  Bate is certainly disappointed he couldn't stop the Dream (Match Grade: B-)

This match played to all aspects of wrestling fans.  A divided crowd made that match that more interesting.  I think a UK Title shot is in order!

Match 2: Adam Cole beats Cezar Bonini (Match Grade: C+)

Adam Cole recognized Bonini as the NXT 2017 future star winner. He asked Cezar to join Undisputed Era.  While Bononi was deciding, he was blindsided by Cole.  Interference by Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly kept Cezar unfocused.

Match 3: Shayna Baszler finally beats Kairi Sane. (Match Grade: C++)

Shayna looks better weekly!  Both ladies gave big hits to each other but Baszler outlasted the bombs to each other.
