NXT 442 on the WWE Network:

Verdict: You had 3 matches which included the conclusion of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (DRTTC).  All in all, a necessary episode to watch for the final pieces of the NXT Takeover: New Orleans puzzle to be completed.

Episode tidbits

→Bobby Fish, of the Undisputed ERA, is injured and is not cleared to defend the tag titles at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.

→Lacey Evans threw shade towards all the ladies of NXT.  She stated that she plans on taking the spot of Kairi Sane.  Because of that revelation, Kairi Sane versus Lacey Evans next week.

Match 1: DRTTC Finals: Double disqualification for Roderick Strong, UK Champion Pete Dunne and the Authors of Pain due to outside interference from Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly of the Undisputed ERA. (Match Grade: C++)

This match was slowly building up to be a must watch match...until Undisputed ERA interfered.  General Manager William Regal stated that ERA will have to face both teams of the DRTTC Finals at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.  The winner of that match will be tag champions and the winner of the DRTTC.

Match 2: Vanessa Borne comes up short against Kairi Sane (Match Grade: C+)

Borne came to fight.  She has shown substantial in ring growth.  Sane had to dig into her bag of techniques to win this one.

Match 3: The matchup between Lars Sullivan and Killian Dain ended up being a stare down of all 6 men that will compete in a ladder match at NXT Takeover: New Orleans for the NXT North American Championship (Match Grade: C+)

Lars and Dain tried to our power and overpower each other the entire match.  While both men were down, all competitors for the NXT North American Championship match filled the ring and did a stare down.
