NXT 441 on the WWE Network:

Verdict: You had 3 matches and the conclusion of Round 2 of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (DRTTC).  All in all, a solid episode to watch for 2 surprise talents getting showcased at NXT Takeover New Orleans.

Episode tidbits

→Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (DRTTC) third round (finals) starts next week.  The winner of the tournament gets a tag team title shot at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.

→Tommaso Ciampa versus Johnny Gargano in an unsanctioned match at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.  If Ciampa wins, Johnny is banished from NXT forever.  If Johnny wins, he gets his job back with NXT.

→Dakota Kai was coming out for her match, but NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas attacked Aleister Black outside the arena.  Cien fought Aleister Black all the way to the ring and left him laying there hurting.

→Lars Sullivan versus Killian Dain next week.

→General Manager William Regal announced the addition of an NXT North American Championship title to be introduced at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.  EC3 comes out immediately and said he should be the inaugural champion.  Regal stated that a competition between EC3 and 5 other people will happen at Takeover...and that match will be a ladder match!  The competitors will be EC3, Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan, Killian Dain & never before seen in NXT - Ricochet.

Match 1: DRTTC Round 2: Street Profits suffer their second tag team lost to the team that beat them the first time - Authors of Pain (Match Grade: C+)

The Street Profits were actually doing well but lost their focus dealing with Paul Ellering.

Match 2: John Silver should have called in sick against Lars Sullivan (Match Grade: C+)

This match was just a reminder of how strong Lars is more than it was a match.  Dominant win for Lars.

Match 3: DRTTC Round 2: SAnitY comes up short against Roderick Strong and UK Champion Pete Dunne (Match Grade: C++)

Good techniques displayed the entire match.  Pretty decent back and forth action.
