NXT 439 on the WWE Network:

Verdict: You had 4 matches and a continuation of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (DRTTC).  All in all, an episode to watch.

Episode tidbits

→Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic (DRTTC) first round continued this week.  The winner of the tournament gets a tag team title shot at NXT Takeover New Orleans.

→WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dune was attacked by the Undisupted ERA until Roderick Strong came out and saved him.  Dunne still did not shake Strong's hand afterward...but did show him respect.

→At the contract signing of Aleister Black vs Andrande "Cien" Almas for the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover New Orleans, only Cien's manager, Zelena Vega showed up.  After Vega insulted and even slapped Black, Aleister revealed he was not there alone.  Candice LaRae, the husband of ousted NXT superstar Johnny Gargano, comes out and beats up Vega.

→Shayna Baszler came after Dakota Kai until NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon came out and confronted Shayna.  Moon agreed to give Baszler another title shot at NXT Takeover New Orleans.  Both ladies fought until Kai gave a surprise kick to Baszler's face.

→Tommaso Ciampa once again comes out to a chorus of boos for causing the end of the Johnny Gargano's NXT career.  He continued to have a great nonverbal interaction with the crowd.

Match 1: DRTTC Round 1: SAnitY beats Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli (Match Grade: C+)

This was a solid match.  Eric Young showed why he has such a long career in the business.  The numbers game derailed Moss & Tino.

Match 2: Dakota Kai gets a quick win over Lacey Evans (Match Grade: C)

Too short of a match.  Kai got a surprise, quick roll-up win.

Match 3: DRTTC Round 1: Street Profits survives the barrage of Heavy Machinery (Match Grade: B-)

Are you not entertained?  This is why I watch wrestling.

Match 4: United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne retains his title via disqualification due to interference from the Undisputed ERA (Match Grade: B)

Watch this match to see the unique offense of Pete Dunne.  Watch this match and see some crazy offense from Adam Cole.  Simply put, what this match.
