Who will take claim for this victory?  Who will be the one that said they saw this victory coming from a while away?  What Nostradamus of a man or woman will say they been telling everyone that Las Vegas gambling sites were wrong, and Ronda Rousey would lose her first fight at UFC 193?

UFC has the internet buzzing because Ronda Rousey just got beaten.  This wasn't a fluke victory.  Quite frankly, Rousey was dominated.

I know many people love Ronda Rousey because she is good at her craft.  One can not deny that the lady has truly handled her business in every UFC fight she has been in.  Just looking at her record in her first twelve fights, you can see that she barely logged in any fighting minutes.  Just think about it for a second.  A round of a fight is 3 minutes.  If she completed 12 fights and fought to the last second of the first round of each fight, she would log 36 minutes.  As you can see by the graphic below, in her 12 fights, she logged a considerable shorter time in the ring than that.

Needless to say, Ronda Rousey is remarkable.  Many liked her because she was a female version of Mike Tyson in the ring.  Many felt as though she would never lose a fight.  I will have to be honest as a guy, and also point out that plain and simply, many guys really liked looking at her as well.  To many, she was eye candy with solid hands, great mat skills and a great chin.

There was starting to get a segment of people that felt as though she was getting to brash and cocky.  The lack of humble pie being served via interviews was starting to get under the collars of some.  They were tired of her jabs at Floyd Mayweather.   Even before this fight, you had a segment of people that asked about her admittance of beating up an ex boyfriend without media backlash was an unfair double standard.  Yet, none of that matters when you get into the ring, and many people hoped that the undefeated Holly Holm could put a blemish on the record and face of Rousey...especially after Rousey's Instagram post:

Such harsh and derogatory language from the face and ambassador of female MMA and UFC.  There was a segment of the betting population that had an inkling that the impossible was possible, and put their money were their mouth was in Las Vegas...those people are happy right now.

So many people doubted that Holly really had a chance, and it was more so because of how dominate Rousey has been, more so than the talent level of Holly.  If you looked at MMA Junkie online, you did see this"

Long-dominant women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) looks for her seventh consecutive title defense when she takes on former boxing champion and undefeated MMA contender Holly Holm (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC). Rousey, a hefty 16-1 favorite heading into Saturday’s fight, is ranked No. 1 in the NOS Energy Drink MMA women’s bantamweight rankings, and Holm is No. 9.

Well, as Mike Tyson is credited to saying, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth!  Well Holm did more than just that.  As I mentioned, she dominated Rousey.  Take a look at a recap courtesy of Fox Sports:
