WRESTLING RECAP: Playtime Williams breaks down WWE Raw from 01/18/16

( - The Royal Rumble (RR) Pay Per View (PPV) is Sunday, and the WWE writers still aren't giving proper time to the other titles!  The only title that seem to really mean something now and days is the World Heavyweight Championship.  I know it is the main belt, but that is not reason not to develop a solid story line for all the other titles.

The RR Heavyweight title match does seem like it will be a good one, but I only hope the PPV can actually not bore us to tears with the other matches.

Some things I still need to happen in the WWE Universe:

  1. Bring back the Cruiser Weight Division
  2. Make all the matches mean something to some sort of belt or rivalry.  
  3. Show more of the roster.  You guys recycle the same talent too much.
  4. You may wish to consider bringing the Diva's division full circle and have them with Tag Title belts, lightweight belts, etc. 
  5. The Tag Team Division is starting to look better than the singles division.  Get more people graduated from NXT and get that division showcased more.

  • Natalya gets a submission victory over Brie Bella. MR: 2

  • The Wyatt scores a victory over Ryback and The Dudley Boyz. MR: 2

  • The Big Show KO punches Heath Slater for the win. MR: 2

  • Becky Lynch gets a submission victory over Tamina. MR: 2

  • Sheamus puts his boot in the face of Kalisto to seal a victory for him and Alberto Del Rio over Kalisto and Dean Ambrose. MR: 3

  • Big E took care of business versus Jay Uso. MR: 3

  • The Ascension, Stardust and Tyler Breeze loses to Mark Henry, R. Truth, Titus O' Neal and Neville. MR: 3
