Verdict: You had 4 matches that prove NXT has a bright future for 2018. This was a buildup episode to the upcoming NXT Takeover Philadelphia.

→Shyana Baszler and Ember Moon have a face to face interview. Ember says Shayna only wants shortcuts. Shayna said she will walk away with Ember's dream when she takes the title at NXT Takeover Philadelphia.

Match 1: No Way Jose partied his way to a win over Cezar Bononi (Match Grade: C)
This match was a lot slower paced than I expected. Cezar put a heavy grind on Jose but Cezar still lost.

Match 2: Latoya Allsopp did not stand a chance against Bianca Belair (Match Grade: C)
Bianca simply overpowered her smaller opponent.

AOP beat up their opponents before the match started. They then let the Tag Team Champions Fish & O'Reilly know that those beat up guys will be them at Takeover Philadelphia.

Match 4: The Velveteen Dream loses to Johnny Gargano in a great match (Match Grade: B)
The crowd was split right down the middle for both competitors. There was plenty of back and forth in the match. This match was too close to call a winner because momentum changed in a heartbeat several times during the match. Johnny won and his victory brought out Cien. They tussled with Gargano getting the best of their exchange.
