Bob's Burgers: "Eat, Spray, Linda" Season 5, Episode 18
(www.PlayTimecares.com) - I like this show. I am lying. I love this show is more appropriate. The family dynamic of Bob's Burgers and the uncertainty of each character of the show as they go through life and the process of self discovery is amazing.
One thing that I like about this show is the music that they have on it quite often. Always a funny song, and normally in multiple genres.
The Sunday, May 3, 2015 airing of Season 4, Episode 18 show, "Eat, Spray, Linda" had an instant classic in it!

Ask you waiter what secret and/or popular items that you don't see on a very
extensive menu.You
just may wish to try
those out too! Also not that they have gluten free items, as well as a
few Vegan dishes. They also take great care not to cross contaminate
for those of you with nut allergies. Catering is available. Happy Hour
specials are available.
The ambiance of the place is great straight from walking
in.You are promptly greeted and seated,
and there is plenty of space so you don't have the feeling of sharing your
chips and salsa with the table next to you.
Speaking of chips and salsa, my girls did not stop eating or
raving about how good the chips, and specifically, the green salsa was.I had to check to see if they had all fingers
at one point.
With them that enthused
about the complimentary appetizer, I was worried that the entree would
disappoint.Yet, why would I think as
such?This place has such a large
variety, to whereas they have to be good, and they will find something to suit
your palette's fancy.There are soups,
salads, nachos, quesadillas, stuffed avocados, chimichangas, enchiladas,
burritos, platters, etc., etc.!There is
surely something there to peak your interest.
I looked at the prices and realized that with the pricing this
reasonable, the portions will be small.I already planned on getting my un-Tex-Mex fill by stopping at Taco Bell.I was definitely wrong.The portion sizes are plenty.My girls didn't speak much during the entree,
and I had to ensure they were breathing in between gulps.They both did stop long enough to ask me to
try some of my food.The kids sized
quesadilla was plentiful, especially with fries and rice.The same goes with the kids sized shrimp. The kids meals comes with drinks, and yes, the refills are unlimited.
I must admit, I definitely appreciated tasting fresh garnish
and fresh toppings.You can tell that
this stuff wasn't sitting around for hours.From the smells alone coming from that sizzling grill, you know you had
freshness.The taste did not
disappoint.My girls echoed my
sentiment.
Great Energy From The Staff The Entire Time
On the way home they thanked me for such a delicious meal
and stated they were full many times.
Dinner at Los Cucos includes great pricing, portions and
taste.
Just walking inside my neighborhood Kroger grocery store, and came across a display. What did I see but a cutout of a familiar NBA Superstar. Why is he there? Lo and behold, LeBron James (LBJ) has a limited edition mixture of the Sprite formula.
Will I be strong and walk pass this display...NOPE! Grabbed a bottle without even looking at the price. I love Coca-Cola products, and I love Sprite, so let's just hope that they did not put LBJ's sweat in the Sprite formula to give it a personal feel.
Just from a visual inspection you knew something was different about this particular Sprite because the label went away from the traditional blue, green and yellow label and design. The LBJ mix is essentially majority red with white writing and gold highlights of some wording. Besides the label change, the top is also red instead of the traditional green cap.
Got this remixed variety home and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator to ensure I had peak drinking temperature to properly review this item. Open opening the bottle, you still have that strong zest and wonderful carbonation sound that comes from a fresh and strong bottle of Sprite. Something was different though...the smell was different. The quite aromatic scent of something fruity and slightly flowery came to that one particular sense...that made another sense desire to be utilized...it is time to taste it.
After tasting this drink, I had to really think about what I was drinking. You have the familiar bark of Sprite, but someone tinkered with my Sprite. The remix was a slight hint of seemingly that "rainbow tasting" product sprinkled into my Sprite and then finely blended. I like that "rainbow tasting" product, so this drink is a hit for me.
Overall, I like what Sprite did with this one. Make it a limited edition that way I will always want to buy it when I see it. I love my Sprite, so the original formula will always be my first choice, but I would definitely buy this one again.
LBJ has join won another title...this time a taste championship.
The Breakfast Club, located at 3711 Travis St Houston, TX 77002, has over 1600 reviews on the consumer driven critique site Yelp, so will my one review even make
a difference?!? Probably not, but since I like to give my one, two and
three cents into a matter, you shall read from me! Can this place
really be almost a 5 star experience? Can the food really be that good?
Well, I hate to admit it, but I definitely had a 5 star experience.
That doesn't happen normally, but this time it did.
Following
the advice of a coworker, I decided to come to the place after 1pm to
avoid the massive lines that form. They also told me not to try to go
on the weekend. Friday at 1pm works for me, so that was my plan. I
didn't quite make it there for 1pm, but 1ish was good enough for me.
From the reviews, I knew parking was going to be an issue, but low and
behold, someone was pulling away from the front of the place as I was
pulling in! God must have really wanted me to try this place! Parking
out of the way, I was expecting a line, but the 1pm advice was
sound...right in for me! God must have really wanted me to try this
place! From the onset, the staff was very friendly. The greeter
at the door was all smiles and handed me a menu. After complimenting
the looks of my daughters, the greeter told me what the business was
known for, and made her recommendations. As many reviews have told me,
and concurring with what the greeter told me, either try the wings and
waffles or the catfish and grits. Screw deciding, I ordered both to go.
Throughout the entire time I was in the place, workers spoke to me and
my children and ensured that we had proper condiments to go with our
orders before the food even came out. Even leaving we had staff
speaking to us outside. There is truly nothing wrong with friendly
folks.
I was not impressed or please with the pricing of the
dishes...let me go on record stating that...but darn it...these folks
actually use spices on their food! As a matter of fact, they sale their
spice in the store, so they know their spice is tasty. I must go on
record and state that this establishment is the most flavorful place I
have experienced in the Houston and surrounding area. The food that I
ate is the new standard bearer for taste for Houston. The wings were
well fried, not hard, and tasty. The waffle was actually extremely
fluffy and tasty as well. The catfish was well fried, not hard and
tasty as well. The people in that kitchen know what they are doing.
I hate loving the taste of a restaurant that would charge $15 a plate for such simple dishes, but I know my tongue is betraying my wallet. My tongue will not allow me to never venture here again. This is one of the few places that were able to live up to the hype. I look forward to being able to try other items on the menu. Hopefully the staff will be as professional as they were in my initial visit. Chicken and waffles and catfish and grits...yum!
